700-1A  Deephallow Manse
The Deephallow Manse was originally adapted from a “Big People” artifact. The Manse provided a snug and safe shelter for Drogo Ivyclimber, his wife Myrtle Brandybuck and all eleven of their Alver offspring.  A perfect spot for a growing family to take up residence!

700-1B The Buckland Cluster
As the name implies, the Buckland Cluster originated as a group of large mushrooms in the Deephallow section of the Olde Towne and was named by the first sprite family to occupy it.  Although it appears small from the exterior, quite large families have occupied it through the years.  An exceptionally nice property that dates back to the founding of The Olde Towne.

700-2A The Bywater Inne
As the name implies, the Buckland Cluster originated as a group of large mushrooms in the Deephallow section of the Olde Towne and was named by the first sprite family to occupy it.  Although it appears small from the exterior, quite large families have occupied it through the years.  An exceptionally nice property that dates back to the founding of The Olde Towne.

700-2B The Willowbottom Sewing Shop
As the crisp cool days of the Olde Towne’s first Autumn approached and all the Wee Folk were scrambling to build shelters and lay in enough supplies to survive Winter, three sisters of Elvin stock were faced with a dilemma. They finally located a site beneath towering spiny plants that would be a good protection against predators and began incorporating what they could find into their new home.

700-3A The Bindleshank Pub
Built by the Bindleshank Clan of Leprechauns in order to help celebrate St. Patrick's Day, this fine establishment is a much beloved structure in the Olde Towne as it sits surrounded by hops vines and sassafras (for tee-totaling Wee Folk).  Easy to do appliqué with loads of opportunities for imaginative quilters to make this a very unique part of the Olde Towne.

700-3B The Tippytootall House
Whether named by the first residents who celebrated St. Patrick's Day too heartily at the Bindleshank Pub and then couldn't fit through the door or for the materials of construction (rumored to be green Jell-O), this is a delightful residence in the Olde Towne.  What kind of adventure will you decide to quilt?

700-4A  Woodenhall Manor
This structure became a look out and warning post for the community for warnings against marauding rabbits, stampeding mice and other threats to the Wee Folk.  Wee Politicians used the balcony to make speeches and the top floor became the Wee “Sleepy Room" for elves, leprechauns and other Wee Folk who celebrated at the Bindleshank Pub and couldn't fly home.

700-4B The Pith Helmet House
Introduced by Margo's Mascot Troll, Stumpy, this April 1st block is sure to "pun'ish quilters who don't attempt it!  A wonderful example of "troll" humor with Baby Skunk Cabbages and more!

700-5A  The Danderfluff Manor
When twin Elves wed twin sisters, well, you get an Olde Towne Home that has two doors.  They also specialize in growing "dander-lions" and "dander-fluffs".

700-5B  Mama Trolls House
When troll-ettes reach advanced ages, say 300 years old or so, they no longer climb trees to build nests.  This is one of the prime examples of a Mama Trolls Houses in Olde Towne!

700-6A  The Folded Paper House
While the Troll Community insists that it flew in, landed and that they “finished” the house, most discount the idea because even in the Wee Village, houses can’t fly – can they?

700-6B  The Bootrear House
Gremlins soon decided that the other Wee Folk were having way too much fun over at the Bindleshank Pub so they converted the lower portion of their house to manufacture something called Root Beer.  As it is with Gremlins in all places, including the Wee Village, things got snarled and they created, instead, a beverage called Boot Rear because it gives one a real kick in the – ahem, backwards anatomy.

700-7A  The Snowcup Estate
The Snowcup Estate was first little more than two large round containers glued together.  Although the smiling face of the Big Folk Man was considered nice and references to "oats" pleased the residents who could decipher Big Folk writing, the large size of the structure made it important to the colony so it was sheathed in stone later to preserve it.

700-7B  The Stepladder Mansion
During the first winter and summer the colonists spent in their new home, the Stepladder Mansion was used as a multiple family dwelling as each level could be divided into chambers suitable for elves, leprechauns, fairies, or pixies.  The very lowest floor, beneath the lower apartment’s balcony was reserved for trolls and ogre’s.

700-8A The Wee Gazebo
The center of summer activity in the Olde Towne is this delightful structure that has most Wee Historians very puzzled as to the original purpose. The points and curves are deliberately created which lead many to believe that trolls had something to do with the design but the argument over whether the structures posts were intended to lean or not continues.

700-8B  McMurtry's Bank
McMurtry’s Bank was founded by Angus McMurtry's as a safe place for leprechauns, ogre’s and other collectors of rich ores and gems to deposit their pots of gold and other troves where Big People couldn’t find them.  What will you have spilling out of the treasure chest?

700-9A  Fallcroft Haven
Originally constructed from a Big People artifact that contained a Big Ladies Hat, the structure was intended to store the Olde Towne residents winter stores.  The Fallcroft Clan sealed the Haven in the next year and created a charming home that has ample room to keep pine cone nuts, tea daisy petals and maple syrup from the trees surrounding it.

700-9B  The Faun Manse
Fauns are not generally considered Wee Folk and in the Big Folk Fables are usually considered to be almost the same size, however, the group that arrived in the Fall of the first year in Olde Towne were very small and as the years have passed, have become even smaller so that they are considered true Wee Folk. The fauns quickly built their Wee House which has some elements of their origin in it with the columns, sweeping porch and sun rooms, then found small popular trees that made it seem even more homelike to them.

700-10A  The Grand Banshee's Hummock
Everyone knows that elves, trolls, fairies and other Wee Folk imitate some of the things Big Folk do. There were no Banshees in Olde Towne so the older matrons of the community banded together to create a group called the Grand Banshees.  Their headquarters is an unusual artifact and was selected to compliment a Big Folk group that they had learned about that also uses purple and red as a trademark on their outings.

700-10B  The Wee Mage's Hollow
Every Wee Village has it's own Mage who appears now and again to wave his magic wand, make sparks appear and in general cause a lot of fun.  Of course he must have a home fitting for the working of such magic’s as making dewdrops sparkle, fairy hair shimmer and other wonderful things.  A suitable home would of course have a tower filled with musty books, big doors that creak nicely and windows that glow unexpectedly from friendly Will O’ The Wisps that come visiting, all of which makes it a great wee 'manse' for Halloween.

700-11A  Oakendorf

Oakendorf is a mystery within the Olde Towne as all know it is occupied by elves though they rarely appear.  Historians believe that the Christmas Cactus by the front door provides a clue as does the top of the residence which appears to be quite level, as if something landed or took off from that point.  Sounds of activity are heard inside all year around except for three days after Christmas when all one can hear is snoring, then the mysterious activity begins again.

700-12A The Wee Chapel

Elves, fairies, trolls and ogres don’t really need a chapel.  They arrange things like weddings with Mother Nature and that’s as far as we’ll go on that subject. The Chapel itself was formed from some type of baked goods that had petrified and the tower was made from a waxy cylinder that for some reason had been hollowed out with fire.  It smells very good still and the windows give a nice glow. Imaginative quilters will find the doors will open and there is an extra section that can be used for scenes of the interior.

700-12B The Nursery

When the Wee Folk settled the Olde Towne, they of course brought their Wee-Wee Folk with them and soon discovered the perfect place to establish an egg-sitting structure.  Historians agree that this unique structure has been in use since the beginning of Olde Towne due to the amount of ogre chew marks, troll bashes, accumulated fairy dust and other telling relics.  As Wee Folk really don’t tell time very well they have insured that the Wee-Wee Folk have plenty at hand for their first mushy meals of eggplant and the rare nanna tree that is favored by baby trolls.

700-BDR  The Olde Towne Border

Two years in the creation, the Olde Towne Border is designed to create the illusion of peering through dense foliage and wonderful blooms to spot the Olde Towne.  Available on CD ONLY, the border will delight quilters as they 'think out of the box' and create new settings to suit their own visions of just how the Olde Town will appear.  All the motifs are sized to compliment and work with the original Wee Village and Wee Village border as well so that quilters may mix and match as they choose.  Order the Border alone for only $45.00
